This page is dedicated to every Tait that has ever fought in a war, in defence or protection of their homeland or country. Anyone’s name can be placed here irrespective of what side they fought on, irrespective of whether or not they died during that war.

This page is not intended in any way to glorify war. On both sides there are always extremists, but for the ordinary solider fighting for the protection of his country, family or way of life. These people are nothing short of being heroes, and even if they had little choice they are still heroes.
