GED2HTM
GED2WWWF uses a GEDCOM format file. This GEDCOM file is converted into several HTML files for web publishing of genealogical personal work. This is an international version of GED2WWW: English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, German are supported. Two data presentation are available. Some images could be linked to individual data automatically. The special feature of Ged2wwwf is to produce a list of Places and surnames appearing and a list of Surnames and places where they appear. The places of these lists can be sorted at your will. TT KEY
TTKEY reads a standard genealogical family name information file (Tiny Tafel Specification 1.6) and produces a corresponding keyword file containing the family names, with both singular and plural forms. ROOTS32
This geneaology program R32 is a Win32 application, running under Windows NT and Windows9x, for storing family related data.Underlying is a index sequential database, that enables the application to access data very fast. Each person has links to its parents and children, creating a multidimensional tree, through which the user can interactively browse. R32 creates one files storing each family tree. There can be multiple files. R32 can run simultaneously multiple times.Each instance of R32 can only load one family tree file at the time . There is no limit for the number off persons in each file . Each person can have up to 50 children and 30 partners. Name and lifetime information can each be up to 200 characters long. There can be a memo field holding up to 32kByte text for each person. Arbitrary filenames can be linked to each person, enabling the user to access and store data, using the original applications that created those files e.g. images and other documents. PARLOC
UK Parish Locator program. Download this freeware program for Windows95/98,ME or NT & Windows 2000, based on a database originally created by Gerald Lawson. It enables you to locate any one of over 15,000 UK parishes. It will produce a list of parishes in any County or a list of parishes within a given radius of any other parish and also allows Import and Export via "csv" files. It is possible to plot the location of parishes to either the screen or the printer. This version also includes a number of corrections to errors found by users. Users of versions earlier than 1.7 should note that the eastings have all been reduced so that they should now agree with the OS maps. The parishes listed were those in existence at some during the period from the mid 1500s to about 1837 when civil registration started but see full details in section 2.2 of the ReadMe file. (476KB)
